Baby Tattoo

Baby Tattoo

Baby Tattoo fosters, promotes and supports a thriving creative community through the publication of art books and the production of live, art-centric events.

Since the company’s founding in 2003, Baby Tattoo has published an eclectic collection of visual books by renowned contemporary artists including Coop, Gris Grimly, Seonna Hong, Michael Hussar, Travis Louie, Brian McCarty, Brandi Milne, Ragnar, Jeffery Scott (1019), Shag, and the artists of Sketch Theatre.

In 2007, Baby Tattoo founded Baby Tattooville, a secret society of artists and art collectors that convenes every October in Riverside, California.

From 2008 through present day, Baby Tattoo has curated a yearly, open-to-the-public exhibition in partnership with the Riverside Art Museum to coincide with the mysterious Baby Tattooville event.

Baby Tattoo is a worldwide sponsor of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, and hosts the Los Angeles branch of the alternative figure drawing phenomenon.

Through all of the company’s endeavors, Baby Tattoo strives to promote a dynamic interactive relationship between those who create and those who appreciate art.

Invoke The Spirits

Invoke The Spirits

Can you hear that? It seems the spirits are restless and YOU ARE NEEDED to settle their souls. Fear not little kiddies, the apparitions will not bite, they simple crave to hear what's on your mind, it could be anything... a photograph you stumbled upon, an exhibition of your current wares or even your love of Hallow's Eve, these ghastly observers are willing to devour anything.

Now it's your turn, The Church of Halloween Invocations are a blank canvas ready for you to create your posts. Don't be shy, add whatever you would like, but... please be sure it relates to Halloween.

For now, each submitted post is curated so please allow a little time until it appears on the site.

Women in Horror Month

Women in Horror Month

Every February, Women in Horror Recognition Month (WiHM) assists underrepresented female genre artists in gaining opportunities, exposure, and education through altruistic events, printed material, articles, interviews, and online support. WiHM seeks to expose and break down social constructs and miscommunication between female professionals while simultaneously educating the public about discrimination and how they can assist the female gender in reaching equality.

WiHM focuses on supporting the achievements of women who utilize the most extreme mirror available in storytelling: horror. We encourage women to explore and represent these horrors constructively, in positive environments.
